Wish they had white cream-filled powdered sugar donuts
First time here,(out of staters) donuts are great, brought some pies to take home for Christmas. Love the sign out front, it made us want to drop in. USA
Schuler's has been our family's favorite since I was a little kid. I know people like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts and all of that, but we got spoiled on Schuler's from childhood and nothing else would do. We NEVER had a birthday, communion, graduation or any other family event without a Schuler's cake, and wouldn't touch donuts from anywhere else. And then evidently another family member took over the business, starting skimping on the recipes (the creme horns used to be a family favorite and when he changed the recipe, they were so bad, they actually stopped making them) and it's just a shadow of what it used to be. The cakes are dry and taste like they've been sitting for days before you get them. I think cutting corners in the pursuit of the almighty dollar has ruined this place.
Here from Michigan, found this place! Great staff, very friendly. Cinnonom rolls were yummy! Picked up awesome pies and cookies for the holiday.. Great prices!!
